Pesquera Crianza is a red wine with a lot of personality, long aftertaste, and structure.

Alejandro Fernández started this Winery in the seventies of the last century, currently being the flagship of his Group of four Wineries.

Production and Aging

Pesquera Crianza is made with 100% Tempranillo grapes. At Pesquera, the harvest takes place from August to October. The grapevines have turned ochre, transferring their vigor to the clusters. It is now time for man to continue the work of Nature in the winery. Pesquera wines are always made from whole, destemmed fruits. The fermentation, at controlled temperature, lasts between two and three weeks.

After pressing, and without clarification, the wines go directly into a wise and subtle combination of American and French oak barrels with different toasting levels.

Tasting Notes for Pesquera Crianza
