This La Planta 2020 medium-bodied wine, the all-rounder of the winery, is made with tinto fino grapes from vines over 20 years old from their vineyard that gives the wine its name. It is structured and meaty, and amazes us with its softness and freshness.
Arzuaga Navarro has been located in Quintanilla de Onésimo since the early 90s, with an entrepreneurial spirit, sensitivity to aesthetics, and a desire for perfection.
For the elaboration of La Planta 2020, the grapes are harvested by hand at the optimal ripeness and collected in 15kg boxes. Then, the bunches are selected on the sorting table, and afterwards they are destemmed and placed in stainless steel tanks. Cold maceration and fermentation take place at temperatures ranging from 22ºC to 24ºC. It is aged in French and American oak barrels for 6 months to achieve a wine full of mature and elegant fruit flavors.
Grilled meats, but we consider it an "all-rounder" due to its fruitiness and elegance.
It is recommended to consume this red wine at a temperature between 14 and 16ºC.
