Production and aging

Valduero Una Cepa is a single varietal Tempranillo wine. The production of the vines used to make this wine is scarce, hence the name "Una Cepa" which means "One Vine" as they obtain one bottle from one vine.

Valduero Una Cepa 2015 is a wine with Ribera del Duero designation of origin, made with 100% Tinta Fina grapes. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

Tasting notes of Valduero Una Cepa

• Appearance: Valduero Una Cepa has a very high layer of cherry red color.
• Nose: Complexity of aromas and extraordinary intensity. Once we swirl the wine in the glass, fruit and wood aromas blend together and hints of ripe red fruits, leather, toasty notes, and vanilla start to appear.
• Palate: Well-structured and balanced wine, with excellent integration of alcohol and acidity and a different aftertaste compared to the classic Valduero range.

Pairing

Red meats, oily fish, aged cheeses, and cured meats. It is recommended to be consumed at a temperature between 17-19ºC.
