Whisky 100 Pipers is one of the classic Scottish blended whiskies and it is the first blend from Chivas Brothers company. In 1949, it was sold to Seagram's.
100 Pipers Whisky is produced by a blend of about 25-30 carefully selected malt whiskies. This whisky is distilled in Speyside, in the north of Scotland, where most of the smooth and light whiskies of this country come from, so 100 Pipers Whisky also possesses these qualities.
This whisky owes its name to the uprising of Bonnie Prince Charlie and his battalion with 100 bagpipers at the front, which the ballad "The Hundred Pipers" honors.
Appearance: 100 Pipers Whisky has a pure gold color.
Nose: It has an intense aroma, with notes of hazelnut and smoked oak wood.
Pallet: Very balanced and smooth taste.
