Viña Alcorta has structured the vineyard into separate plots for reserva, crianza, and joven. In this case, the crianza comes from vineyards over 25 years old.
Alcorta Crianza is a wine with the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin, made 100% from Tempranillo grapes. After one year of aging in barrels (1/3 in French oak and 2/3 in American oak), it rests in the bottle for about 6 months.
Longer macerations are carried out to achieve a more structured wine with a better balance between fruit and wood. All of this allows us to obtain a more fruity, velvety, and spicy aging wine.
Alcorta Crianza is ideal for all types of meats, stews, and semi-cured cheeses. It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 15 and 17ºC.
