Another of the winery's single varietals, ALGUEIRA SERRADELO is made from 100% native Brancellao grapes from plots with different orientations. Fermented in French oak with long post-fermentation macerations and aged for more than 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Cherry colour, with some orangey tinges typical of the ageing process.
Rusticity of the variety with a very marked reduction that gives way to hints of ripe sour fruit (red plum) and balsamic (black tea, laurel), with a background of marc.
Acidity stands out on the palate, with a rounded passage through the mouth. It surprises with a final tannic punch that marks the strength and personality of the variety.
