Anima Negra is an oenological gem from the Balearic Islands, specifically from the Ánima Negra winery in Mallorca.
This winery, recognized for its focus on native varieties and traditional methods, presents a red wine that encapsulates the essence and authenticity of the region.
Anima Negra is made mainly from grapes of the Callet, Mantonegro and Fogoneu varieties, grown in calcareous soils and under a Mediterranean climate that favors the optimal ripening of the grapes.
The vinification is carried out with a careful selection of grapes, fermentation in cement tanks and aging in French oak barrels for 17 months, which gives it exceptional complexity and structure.
Anima Negra has an intense cherry red color, bordering on garnet, which denotes its youth and vitality.
On the nose, it is a wine of great aromatic expressiveness. Notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry stand out, accompanied by nuances of sweet spices, vanilla and hints of cocoa. Subtle balsamic and Mediterranean herb aromas are also appreciated, providing a unique aromatic complexity.
On the palate, Anima Negra is elegant and well-structured. Its entry is smooth, with silky and well-integrated tannins. Fruity flavors predominate, highlighting ripe red fruits, while spicy and toasted notes from the oak complement it perfectly. It has a long and persistent finish, with an aftertaste that invites you to continue tasting.
