Bermejos Diego Seco is an organic white wine from the D.O. Lanzarote, made from the native variety known as Vijariego Blanco. Bodegas Los Bermejos, one of the most recognized wineries on the island, re-emerged in 2001 as an oenological reference by taking advantage of the special conditions of the soil and climate in the region. The vineyards, located in La Geria, are planted in volcanic sand holes, known as picones, which help retain moisture in the plants and protect them from strong winds. This careful environment allows for a meticulous harvest, with rigorous health control and careful selection of the grapes at maturity. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, which helps extract the aromatic characteristics of Vijariego Blanco. The result is a white wine that reflects the uniqueness of the volcanic landscape and the sub-desert climate of Lanzarote, offering a unique oenological experience.
