Ardbeg 10 years is one of the most turbid single malts that are distilled in the area of Islay. The distillery that produces it is situated by the sea on a small island of 3,000 inhabitants in the southwest of Scotland.
For their obtaining they use roasted malt of local dryers that use natural ventilation methods. The smoke that accumulates in the room is impregnated in the matter providing a smoked aroma that characterizes this single malt. It is then distilled and aged in specially selected oak barrels for 10 years.
Ardbeg 10 years has a quearoma gives off notes of melon, walnuts, citrus and fresh flore and a light aroma of coffee. On the palate it is tasty and slightly spices with a long, smoky finish.
