Elaboration and aging

Arienzo Crianza is made almost exclusively from the Tempranillo variety (90%), to which small percentages of the Graciano (5%) and Mazuelo (5%) varieties are added as a complement. As for its elaboration, traditional vinification is carried out. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

After the fermentation processes are completed, Arienzo Crianza spends about 18 months aging in American oak barrels. Finally, after bottling, this red wine will undergo an additional 12 months of aging in the bottle.
