The Arlequín brand anchovies are a delicious preparation that comes from the European anchovy, a small fish rich in Omega-3 and a source of proteins, which swim in our waters of the Cantabrian Sea. Our Platinum series is a limited edition of only 4500 units and meets all the conditions for the anchovy you are about to eat to be a delicacy in your mouth, European anchovy, from the spring season, of medium size, chosen one by one and hand-salted so you can enjoy its completely clean meat and preserved in first quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Arlequín Preserves was founded as an anchovy canning company in Santoña, the heart of the Cantabrian Sea, a canning company that continues to operate at full capacity today to present us with its best anchovies, white anchovies, and canned tuna. Our raw material, Engraulis encrasicolus, currently arrives at our facilities in Santoña fresh, where it undergoes a maturation process in a salty medium and after a hand-cleaning and preparation, we obtain our Anchovy fillets to which we will only add salt and extra virgin olive oil and pack them in a round tin, single layer, so you can see the quality of our anchovies as you open the container, thanks to its easy-open lid, and enjoy them anytime, anywhere. With these simple, but very elaborate steps, we achieve anchovies, full of flavor, perfect for enjoying on any occasion. They are a source of iron, potassium, calcium, and vitamins A and B, due to their low calories and high protein content they are an essential food in any healthy diet.
