Basagoiti Fuera del Rebaño is a red wine from Rioja produced by the Basagoiti winery with Tempranillo grapes. This is a winery that is over 90 years old and belongs to the Bodegas Parxet group.
This single varietal Tempranillo comes from grapes from a single estate. The estate is located in Navarra, at an altitude of 450 metres above sea level. The vineyards, with an average age of 25 years, are grown on clay-limestone soil with pebbles. After fermentation and maceration for 16 days at a controlled temperature of 26ºC, the wine is aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.
In the mouth we find a structured Rioja with soft but finished tannins. A full-bodied wine. Deep and opaque colours at a high level.
Aromas of very ripe red fruits on a background of graphite and aromas of ash aged in oak barrels.
