Duck foie gras pâtés contain at least 30% foie gras. Our Basque black label pâté contains 75% duck liver. It is a crushed mass, which in addition to including duck or goose livers may also include their meat and the livers of other birds.

Ingredients

Duck liver 75%, duck meat, egg, milk, wheat flour, salt, sugar, pepper, sodium nitrite preservative, and sodium ascorbate antioxidant. Storage conditions: Room temperature. Once the can is opened, store between 0 - 4ºC and consume within a maximum of 5 days.

Preparation

It is advisable to refrigerate it at least 2 hours before consumption and 10 minutes before tasting at room temperature. This bell-shaped can format, opens easily on both sides allowing us to open both lids and push from the narrower side, allowing to extract all the content onto a plate, perfectly and without irregularities. Once the product is extracted from the container, cut into thin slices. To do this, use a well-sharpened knife, previously rinsed with hot water. Foie gras-based crushed pastes can be spread on bread, or used in other presentations.
