The Ramírez de la Peciña family is currently dedicated to the cultivation of vines and the marketing of quality wines produced in the traditional way under the D.O.C. Rioja in the town of Villabuena de Álava, in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa.
The winery adapts to the new times in terms of technology, with a new bottling line, improvements in the production process and greater specialisation
Opportunities arise in the foreign market, and control systems are established for product traceability both in the vineyard and in the winery
The majority of the grapes used to produce our wines come from our own vineyards, between 15 and 100 years old, planted in goblet and trellis with a production of 4,000 kg/hectare to 5,000 kg/hectare for the red varieties and 9,000 kg/hectare for the white variety
