Borsao Zarihs 2018 is a wine whose name, Zarihs, is shiraz spelled backwards. It is a twist on shiraz, typically used as a young and fruity wine, and in the case of this wine it aims to have a bit more complexity and elegance after a good time in barrels.
Borsao is one of the most successful wineries in the Campo de Borja area.
Borsao Zarihs 2018 is a 100% Syrah varietal. The Syrah grapes macerate for 4 to 5 days and ferment for about 20 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. 40% of the wine ages in American oak barrels for 12 months, while the rest ages in stainless steel.
Borsao Zarihs is ideal to accompany big game, roasted duck, and beef steak.
Serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
