The Cava Kripta is a coupage of the varieties Macabeo 45%, Xarel • Lo 20% and Parellada 35%, from vineyards over 60 years. It is a brut nature cava, without addition of expedition liquor that rests in the silence of the Cavas and with cork stopper a minimum of 48 months until its disgorging.
The bottle, has a clear reminiscence of Roman amphora, and the label is the work of the artist Rafael Bartolozzi.
Limited production, numbered bottles.
TASTING IN SIGHT
Straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. Thin, lingering bubbles.
TASTING ON THE NOSE
Intense, clean, frank. It is sweet on the nose with creamy notes of ripe fruit, vanilla and soft toasted nuances with a balsamic and smoky background of good complexity.
TASTING IN THE MOUTH
It is fine and elegant in the mouth attack, with the excellently combined carbonic. It emphasizes the silkiness of the foam on a background of vanilla, ripe fruit and light toasted. Long and complex aftertaste, where the aromas of the nose and mouth are repeated, highlighting the vanilla on the bottom of butter and toast, fruit of its long ageing.
