The Claude Cazals La Chapelle du Clos 2016 Magnum Champagne is an exquisite expression of the prestigious Le Mesnil-sur-Oger region, located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, renowned for its exceptional Chardonnay vineyards.
This cuvée comes from an outstanding vintage, 100% Chardonnay, which reflects the elegance and purity of the chalky terroir. Claude Cazals, a family-run maison with over a century of tradition, has created an oenological gem that combines precision and authenticity.
Appearance: It has a bright golden yellow colour, with fine and persistent bubbles that form a delicate rosary in the glass.
Nose: Fresh and elegant aromas dominated by notes of white flowers, ripe citrus and green apple. As it evolves in the glass, subtle hints of brioche, toasted almonds and minerals emerge.
Palate: The wine is vibrant and structured, with perfectly balanced acidity that gives it freshness. Citrus and stone fruit flavours, such as peach and nectarine, are complemented by notes of butter and toast from its ageing on lees. The finish is long and mineral, with exceptional persistence.
