Chateau Pigoudet Rosé is a rosé wine made from 46% Grenache, 21% Cinsault
Chateau Pigoudet Rosé is a rosé wine made from 46% Grenache, 21% Cinsault and 11% Syrah. Made in Provence, at altitude, at the north-eastern end of the Côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation. Vineyards face south, with a slight slope, protected to the north by a barrier of rocks.
It comes from the direct pressing of the grapes of our best vineyards, harvested at night only. To reveal the characteristics of our terroir, juices are patiently kept on lees at low temperature. Net settling, controlled fermentation of each variety, aging in
stainless steel vats and bottled after a light filtration.
Coulour: Pale salmon, very pale.
Perfume: First aroma: acidity, mandarine, flowery. Second aroma: complex, floral, peony, hollyhock, white flowers.
Taste : Perfect balance between acidity and ripeness.
Nice aromatic persistence, traces of citrus fruits, grapefruit, pineapple. Remarkable length. Spicy finale. Elegant, very pleasant to sip, suitable for all occasions, from noon to midnight...
