Cluster Dextrin, also known as HBCD (Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin) or Cyclodextrins, are a type of carbohydrate that, from the enzymatic degradation of starch, results in a series of cyclic oligosaccharides, obtaining a set of glucose units with a thyroidal structure.
