Rosé Wine Conde de San Cristobal Flamingo Rosé
The Flamingo Rosé Wine is a rosé wine with the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin and is made from 100% Tinta Fina grape variety, sourced from Marqués de Vargas Winery.
The vineyards are located in the highest area of the Duero River, at an altitude of 900m. The soils are developed on detrital sediments with gravels and have a sandy-clay-loam texture.
The grapes are destemmed and taken to the press where the must is collected, without being pressed. It is then settled by gravity for 48 hours. Once clarified, alcoholic fermentation takes place with local yeast at 17ºC. Then, it undergoes aging on lees until bottled 6 months and 11 days later.
During the harvest, the time between grape cluster cutting and grape reception is 30 minutes to prevent oxidation and spontaneous fermentation.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 7-9ºC
