Corimbo I 2016 stands out for being an excellent vintage in Ribera del Duero. This jewel comes from old, over 50-year-old, bush-trained vineyards of tinta del país in La Horra (Burgos).
The prestigious English magazine Decanter has selected Corimbo I as Platinum Best In Show, the best red wine in the world above 15 pounds made with Spanish varieties.
Corimbo I 2016 is made from Tinta del País grapes. The harvest is done manually and the grapes undergo a strict selection process. The elaboration process begins with grape maceration. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in oak vats while malolactic fermentation is carried out in barrels.
Corimbo I undergoes 16 months of aging in French oak barrels (80%) and American oak barrels (20%). It is stabilized naturally and clarified with egg albumin.
Corimbo I 2014 is ideal to accompany meat and legume stews.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
