Cosme Palacio Crianza is a very elegant wine, aged only in barrels from the best French cooperages. The aim is to achieve the character of the best Rioja grape with the smooth tannins of high-quality wood.
Cosme Palacio is a winery from 1863, trying to bring modernity to the wines of Rioja Alavesa in the Bordeaux style, and since then betting on high-quality grapes and careful craftsmanship.
Elaboration and aging
Cosme Palacio Crianza is a 100% Tempranillo varietal wine. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. Destemmed grapes, not crushed, which after long macerations ferment in stainless steel tanks with automatic temperature control, pumpovers, and micro-oxygenation. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels.
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and 10 months in bottle.

- Appearance: Cosme Palacio Crianza has a garnet cherry color, covered with layers, with brightness and liveliness.
- Nose: Aroma of fresh red fruits (strawberries, raspberries) and tones of ripe dark fruit (plum, blueberry). Spicy notes and undergrowth background.
- Palate: It is powerful, round, and with great freshness in the mouth, with an expressive, long, and juicy finish, very pleasant.
Pairing
Cosme Palacio Crianza is ideal to accompany red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
