Cune Reserva is a red wine from the La Rioja Designation of Origin produced by CVNE winery. A very elegant wine.
CVNE is a family winery founded in 1879 in the municipality of Haro in La Rioja. Currently, the fifth generation is in charge of the business of this company, which has been listed on the stock exchange since 1997.
Cune Reserva is a blend of Tempranillo (85%) and Graciano, Garnacha, and Mazuelo (15% combined). Cune Reserva undergoes an alcoholic fermentation that lasts around ten days. After this process, malolactic fermentation takes place.
It is aged in French and American oak barrels for at least 24 months. After the barrel aging, it rests in the cellar for another year.
Cune Reserva is ideal to accompany stews, mushrooms, grilled beef, lamb, cured cheeses, and roasted meats. It is recommended to decant before consuming and serve at a temperature of 17ºC.
