Delamain Pale & Dry Centenaire is a cognac produced by Delamain under the appellation Cognac Grande Champagne.
Delamain is a historic winery. Its origins date back to the early 17th century, and today the winery is in the hands of the 15th generation of the family.
Delamain strives for perfection in all its products. The first step is a selection of the best cognacs made in the Grande Champagne region from the Ugni Blanc variety, cognacs distilled under Delamain's supervision for a century.
These cognacs are aged in very old oak barrels. Very old 350-litre barrels, which over time have lost their woody sensations, giving way to new nuances of lemon, orange peel, flowers, etc., giving a unique personality to this Delamain Pale & Dry Centenaire.
Once the ageing process is completed, the final blend is made by blending cognacs of similar ages. This blend rests for a couple of years to be refined. Once this time has elapsed, small quantities of old "flojos", old cognacs are added to reduce the 50º of its natural alcohol content to the final 40º.
Conceived in 1920, this Grande Champagne is the most representative product of the house Delamain, 80% of its production. It is aged for many years and has an elegant and delicate style.
