LICOR DISARONNO AMARETTO ORIGINAL
TheDisaronno Amaretto Original liqueur is a delicious liqueur with an intense fresh almond flavor.
Thanks to its exclusive square cap and its unmistakable glass bottle with soft sparkles, hand-hammered by master glassmakers from Murano (Venice), Disaronno is today the most drunk Italian liqueur in the world, appreciated in more than 160 countries around the world.
Disaronno is an inimitable liqueur, ideal for all occasions, prepared to this day according to a secret recipe known only to a very few people and jealously guarded, thanks to its pleasant and distinguished taste,
Its history dates back to the Renaissance, when in 1525 a disciple of Leonardo da Vinci is commissioned to paint a fresco of the Madonna dei Miracoli in Saronno. To do so, he decided to choose a local innkeeper as his muse and model. As a token of his gratitude, the innkeeper gives him a gift: a bottle of a delicate and aromatic amber-colored liqueur. An aromatic drink with secret ingredients.
In 1600 Giovanni Reina finds the recipe of the innkeeper and his family preserves it, passing it down from generation to generation. At the beginning of the 20th century he began to market it. At the beginning the bottle was round and in 1945 gave way to the unmistakable square bottle. But it was not until 1971 when the master glassmaker of Murano creates the design of today recognized worldwide, a unique square bottle and handcrafted in smooth shiny glass.
Its versatility makes it the protagonist of cocktails and long drinks international and prestigious. To appreciate its unique taste it should be drunk neat or on the rocks.
