"Le Rognet" is an exceptional white wine produced by Domaine d'Ardhuy, in the Ladoix 1er cru appellation. This wine is made from Chardonnay vines planted on marl limestone soils, in a privileged terroir neighboring the prestigious climate of Corton-Charlemagne, northeast of Beaune (Côte-d'Or).
This refined cuvée, marked by beautiful minerality and subtle aromas, will enhance noble fish cooked in the oven or pan-fried unilaterally, such as Turbot, Brill, or John Dory. It also pairs wonderfully with dishes based on white meats, such as veal or poultry, as well as with goat cheeses or cooked pressed paste cheeses, such as Comté or Beaufort. A wine that is both elegant and versatile, expressing the richness of the Burgundy terroir.
