Chablis: Maybe the vineyard of the best white wines on this earth. Either way, Isabelle and Denis Pommier won the award for the best Chardonnay in the world in 2012... just that! This Chablis from the Pommier house is a little bomb! The nose is expressive with notes of white-fleshed fruits like apple and vineyard peach. On the palate, there is a great texture, it is round, delicious, and full-bodied with a tangy finish that gives it nice tension and minerality as well as length. The balance is there! Top!
