The Emilio Moro Red Wine from Bodegas Emilio Moro, presents this red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero, made from 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) grape varieties.

Elegant and subtle, marked by a very low production that brings out the best essences. It is a powerful, balanced wine with a supernatural elegance, with the aromas of tempranillo polished with ageing.

This wine is an excellent representative of what a very good "generic" Ribera del Duero should be. The wine that bears the name of the winery is its undisputed reference and its best calling card since 1998. Made with grapes from vineyards between 10 and 25 years old, it has set a style in the area that has been imitated ad nauseam. However, the Moros continue to embroider it year after year, offering great expression and flavor without resorting to large concentrations.

Its fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with subsequent aging in French and American oak barrels for 12 months.

The vineyard from which the grapes used to make this wine come from is located in Pesquera de Duero, in the province of Valladolid, and grows on clay-limestone-stony soils.

Bodegas Emilio Moro

The history of the Moro family has been written since 1932 as a project of three generations rooted in the Ribera del Duero and dedicated to discovering the characteristics of its terroir to transmit them in wines with personality.

Currently Bodegas Emilio Moro owns 200 hectares of vineyards, most of which are located in the surroundings of Pesquera de Duero, birthplace of the founder of the winery, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.
