Tasting notes
Grape: Verdejo with a spark of Malvasia
Color:This bright straw yellow wine with greenish reflections has an elegant, fresh and complex aroma of great intensity with a marked fruity tone that reminds us of stone fruits (peach), white fruits (pear) and citrus (lemon, grapefruit)
Nose: we appreciate aromas of fennel, scrubland and balsamic, all over a mineral memory.
Mouth: fresh fruit notes appear again. It is unctuous, sweet and elegant with a soft bitter finish (characteristic of the Verdejo variety) and a complex and intense aftertaste
Near our winery in San Román de la Hornija and after a careful night harvest that guarantees the freshness of the clusters from the moment they are picked, the grapes are born to create this Ernesto del Palacio, sweet, elegant and fresh, worthy of the best Verdejo of the D.O. Toro
From the 2020 vintage, the former Campano will be renamed Ernesto del Palacio.
