Southern Rhône Gigondas is a magnificent appellation in the Southern Rhône Valley that produces powerful, elegant, and fine wines. Ferraton Maison offers us here a clear wine with garnet reflections. On the nose, we find notes of spices, Mediterranean scrubland, and ripe red berries. On the palate, the tannins are both present and silky, with intense flavors of red fruits slightly reminiscent of kirsch, spices, and Mediterranean scrubland. Very nice persistence. Open Ferraton "Les Murailles" a little before serving and enjoy it with a good dish (such as lamb shank, for example).
