The first vines of the noble foreign variety Sauvignon Blanc were planted in Rueda in 1980, coinciding with the creation of the Designation of Origin. This happened in the beautiful Finca La Colina, owned by Vinos Sanz. Finca La Colina Sauvignon Blanc comes from a selection of the oldest vines of this variety that the house has, made with special care to achieve a wine that expresses the wide range of aromas and flavors typical of this grape, so close to tropical fruits.
