The grapes selected for this wine come from a vineyard located in the town of Wachenheim, which is characterised by pebble and sandstone soil. Harvest by hand, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C.
The winery was founded in 1920 by the Mosbacher family, which today, after 3 generations, continues to produce its wines from its 20 hectares of vineyards in the surroundings of the emblematic village of Forst.
Its Riesling wines have put this winery in the spotlight due to its reputation and prestige as one of the best wineries in the Palatinate region.
Bright yellow colour.
The nose is dominated by yellow fruit notes such as peach, pineapple and yellow plum.
The palate shows the typicality of the vineyards in this area, defined by the balance of the Buntsandstein soil type and a gentle roundness that fills the palate. Extremely accessible with a pleasant sensation on the palate. Ample and long, with a pleasant sweetness on the finish.
