Gin Hendrick's is a Scottish gin, with a very peculiar flavor, created from the infusion of rose essence and cucumber.
Hendricks Gin is the gin winner of the Double Gold Medal in 2004 at the San Francisco International Spirits Competition.
Gin Hendrick's is distilled with one of the four remaining old Carter-Head stills in the world. It is a very rare still. The Bennet still is also used. It is a gin that is produced in small batches of 500 liters or less, which gives greater control over the evolution of the distillate.
As for the botanicals, it stands out the use of flowers, roots, fruits, and seeds from all over the world. Their function is to complement and enhance its delicious duo of infusions: rose petal and cucumber.
Appearance: Gin Hendrick's has a transparent color.
Nose: Clear notes of juniper, although coriander and citrus peel stand out. The rose petals and cucumber are a bit in the background.
Palate: The fragrance of cucumber dominates while the rose takes a back seat. Coriander and juniper regain presence and a citrus component of blood orange is found. Finish of rose water and citrus peel.
We recommend serving Gin Hendrick's with premium tonic, cucumber, and plenty of ice.
