Glorioso Crianza has been made with 100% Tempranillo grapes. In terms of production, destemmed grapes are macerated and then undergo a controlled temperature fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation, clarification, and racking.
Glorioso Crianza is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. It then rests in the bottle for 10 months.
The Glorioso Crianza line was established in 1928 and is the most widely distributed brand of Bodegas Palacio. The wines are made according to the traditional Rioja categories: Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva, although their aging in French oak brings their own elegance and distinction to the brand.
Glorioso Crianza is ideal to accompany stews, roasts, legumes, and cured cheeses.
