Cheese with boletus edulis is a cheese from Extremadura made artisanally with goat milk and boletus edulis.
This Extremaduran cheese is a semi-hard and pressed cheese.It has a soft and compact texture when sliced, with the presence of small irregular eyes well distributed and an ivory white color. Small pieces of boletus edulis can be seen in its dairy mass.In the slightly yellowish rind, bits of boletus provide different honeyed tones.Goat milk gives it its characteristic aroma and intense and strong flavor, which, along with a long and very pleasant boletus note on the palate, make this cheese a true delicacy.At Gourmetea, in addition to cheese with boletus edulis, we have other Extremaduran goat cheeses with ingredients such as: truffle cheese, cheese with black garlic, and cheese with caramelized onion.
