Mouth: 'Entrada sutil y fresca, cuerpo medio de textura sedosa. Acompañada de una nota ligeramente astringente. Final muy refrescante de post gusto medio.'
Nose: 'Intensidad media. Las notas florales arropan su carácter frutal -manzana verde, nectarina, piel de lima–. Recuerdos herbales, anisados y especiados. Notas de levadura procedentes del trabajo con las lías y un finísimo tono tostado. '
The Gramona La Maca Macabeo White Wine Gramona is a wine made with 100% Macabeo grapes from biodynamic agriculture and winemaking certified with the DEMETER seal.
Making:
Harvesting by hand, using a selection table and grape entry by gravity. Cooling of the grapes, pressing of the whole bunch and meticulous fractioning of the must. Maceration between 0ºC - 5ºC with lees (up to 20%) obtained from decantations from the maceration tanks used for the production of our sparkling wines. During fermentation, these prized precursors that had been preserved cold are incorporated. Maceration lasts 2 to 3 weeks. It ferments in barrels of various uses (more than 10 years), not looking for the contribution of wood but a slight mineralization. The wine spends 6 months in bottle.
