Gran Enemigo Chacayes is one of the exquisite single vineyard wines produced by Alejandro Vigil. It is born at 1,100 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, in a vineyard located in Chacayes (Mendoza), one of the most promising regions of Argentine wine, which is in full ascent.
Here, alluvial soils with limestone stones predominate, where the Cabernet Franc and Malbec vines that make up the Gran Enemigo Chacayes blend grow. The clusters are harvested at five different ripening moments, with a difference of a month and a half between the first and last harvest.
