The half loaf of 100% acorn-fed Iberian chorizo is a high quality sausage. Its origin comes from the best Iberian acorn-fed pigs. The diet that the animal has followed throughout its life has been based solely and exclusively on acorns. This factor is very important since it is an indispensable fact to acquire the qualification of Iberian acorn-fed Iberian in the final product. In Casa Ortega we elaborate our Iberian chorizo with pigs fed entirely with this special ingredient, the elaboration of this sausage follows a very careful process. After several months of curing and maturing, the product has a homogeneous and firm texture. This product, being a sausage, contains B vitamins , such as B12, and different minerals, such as iron and magnesium , and can be accompanied by other quality products.
