Torralba Alba Menorca Rosé Monastrell 2024 is a rosé wine produced by Bodega Torralba under the IGP Vi de la Terra Illa de Menorca. It comes from vineyards grown on the island on calcareous and stony soils , where the influence of the Mediterranean climate and the proximity to the sea bring freshness and character to the wine.
It is made exclusively with Monastrell , a Mediterranean variety that offers intense and expressive rosé wines. After a short maceration with the skins to extract color and aromas, the must ferments at low temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine then remains on its fine lees for about six months , which gives it greater volume and a silkier texture.
The nose presents fresh aromas of red fruits, floral notes and a light Mediterranean background. The palate is refreshing, balanced and very fruity , with good acidity and a smooth, elegant finish. A very versatile rosé that goes particularly well with appetizers, fish, rice dishes or light Mediterranean cuisine.
