Highland Dream 18 Years Old is a whisky made in the Scottish Highlands.

In 1999 Glenfarclas acquired a very rare bottle dated around 1896 at a Christie's auction. It was during one of the visits to the GLENFARCLAS distillery, in the room that serves both as an archive of samples and old bottles, that the idea of creating a replica of this bottle was born.

The creation of a good blended whisky is the confirmation of many years of experience and a particular style. The result, this unique and special whisky with a flavour inspired by the blended whiskies of the 19th century, a time when whiskies combined robustness and quality, with an unmistakable sherry accent.

Tasting notes for Highland Dream 18 Years Old

The malt is elegant on the palate. A combination of hazelnuts, walnuts and a light touch of honey, the finish is long, dry, warm with notes of bitter orange.
