Jameson Whiskey is an Irish whiskey that began to be produced in 1780 by master distiller John Jameson.
John Jameson has been characterized from the beginning for performing a triple distillation of the grain, something completely innovative in 1780.
Jameson Whiskey is made with 3 ingredients: barley, corn, and pure Irish water. It undergoes a 3-distillation process, just like it was done over 100 years ago.
The barley goes through 3 malting processes: soaking the barley in Irish water for several days, allowing it to germinate until it has produced the necessary enzymes for harvesting, and finally, the barley is baked and dried with hot and clean air for this whiskey.
This whiskey is distilled in copper stills after fermentation and then aged in 3 different barrels: sherry casks, bourbon barrels, and port pipes.
Appearance: Jameson whiskey has a golden honey color.
Nose: Floral aroma, invigorated with spicy wood and sweet notes.
Pallet: Delicate flavor and a very smooth texture.
It is recommended to enjoy Jameson whiskey mixed with ginger ale and lime, to drink it neat, or with lots of ice.
