L'Horabona 2021

L'Horabona is a white wine made from Moscatel de Alejandría by Les Freses de Jesús Pobre in the D.O.P. Alicante.

L'Alquería del Colomer is the chalkiest Moscatel de Alejandría plot of Les Freses, the most irregular and the one that requires the most exhaustive selection.

It is planted on a double guyot trellis and has an average production per hectare: 3500 kg/ha. The grapes are harvested by hand, in 15 kg boxes with a selection table and destemming. Fermentation with its own yeasts at the foot of the vat and ageing for 4 months on its lees in stainless steel tanks and 5 months in glass demijohns.

L'Horabona Tasting Notes

Straw yellow in colour with green hues.

The nose is intense and frank muscatel, with intense floral notes of rose and orange blossom.

The palate is complex and dry, full of hints of bakery and butter, in retro nasal sensation of white flowers and talc.
