Elaboration and aging

Loess Inspiration 2020 is made from Tempranillo grapes from vineyards owned by the winery in Roa, Burgos. The harvest is done manually during the month of October.

It is aged for 9 months in premium French oak barrels with different toast levels.

Tasting notes for Loess Inspiration 2020

• Appearance: Loess Inspiration has a dark and opaque cherry red color, high intensity, with a ruby rim and tears that fall quickly down the glass walls.
• Nose: Very fruity aromas (cherries, plums, blackberries) accompanied by subtle toasted aromas (vanilla, cinnamon, cloves).
• Palate: When tasted, it has a fresh entry, starting quickly and gaining volume as the wine passes through the palate, leaving a pleasant tactile sensation with very gentle tannins. It stands out for its long and pleasant aftertaste that provides a sense of the wine's flavor lingering. The complexity returns along with a range of different flavors ranging from fruits to balsamic and toasted notes from the oak, with the varietal character standing out above all.

Pairing

Loess Inspiration is ideal to accompany different meat dishes, pasta with flavorful sauces, and fresh cured meats.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16ºC.
