Louis Moreau Chablis is a typical white wine in its style produced according to traditional techniques, such as fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks to maintain its soft aromatic and mineral notes. The wine is produced with grapes harvested from small plots for a total of 24 hectares in the area of Chablis.
The Domaine Louis Moreau was born from the passion of a family for wine, which this year celebrates two centuries of permanence in Chablis. In the early NINETEENTH century, the love of this family for great wines led them to buy parcels in Grand Crus and Premiers Crus. Today, it owns 5 parcels among the Grand Crus, which include a monopoly, the Domaine works many parcels within the denomination Petit Chablis, Chablis and Premier Crus in full harmony with the environment. The most prestigious of its wines is the monopoly Chablis Grand Cru Clos des Hospices dans Les Clos which was acquired by the Moreau family in 1904. Louis Moreau, which has been commissioned by the Domaine since 1994, produces wines with a unique style, combining minerality, excellent quality, elegance and purity.
Louis Moreau Chablis is a clean and shiny gold color. On the nose it is floral with nuances of white and citrus fruits and elegant mineral tips. Balanced, fresh and round.
