This great wine comes from vineyards that are around a century old. They are located on the plateaus and slopes near the eastern area of the Ribera del Duero. This wine shows all the freshness and juiciness characteristic of mountain vineyards. These vineyards are situated between 900 and almost 1000 meters. The soil in which these vineyards are found is abundant in fine gravel on the surface, with a sandy loam and clay horizon at depth. The climate they are subjected to is characterized by very cold winters and hot summers. In the production process, fermentation takes place in oak vats, allowing the grapes to undergo a long and gentle maceration. Once the racking process is complete, the wine is transferred to barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. Afterwards, it is aged for 18 months in brand new French oak barrels.
