Michel Noëllat Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is a red wine made from Pinot Noir by Domaine Michel Noëllat in Burgundy.
Michel Noëllat is one of the owners of this emblematic vineyard from which he produces around 2.000 bottles per year. Harvested by hand from 2 plots; cold pre-fermentation phase of 3 to 5 days. Fermentation of 18 to 20 days in thermo-regulated tanks; Ageing for 16 months in French oak (new 70%).
Domaine Michel Noëllat is a winery in the hands of the 5th generation of the family, the brothers Alain and Jean-Marc Noëllat. It is located in the village of Vosne-Romanée. A village of great reputation and one of the most important wine villages in France; more than 80% of the wines produced in the Côte de Nuits are reds, and 24 of the 33 Grand Crus of Burgundy are found here.
Deep colour and elegant nose with many layers of fruit, spices and forest floor, the palate is fresh, with a present and friendly tannin. A fine and harmonious wine.
