Etiris PB is an organic white wine from Alta Alella, made entirely from Pansa Blanca, also known as Xarel·lo. This wine has been conceived as “the cleanest experience of the terroir of Alella,” offering an authentic connection to its region of origin. The grapes are hand-harvested, ensuring meticulous selection, and undergo a brief skin maceration at very low temperatures. Afterward, a gentle pressing is performed to obtain the free-run must, which ferments in stainless steel tanks. This process preserves the purity, freshness, and varietal expression of the wine. The vineyard from which it originates is situated at an altitude of 100 to 220 meters, on sauló soils, which are decomposed granite with a sandy texture, oriented southeast, ideal for cultivating Pansa Blanca. This organic wine exemplifies Alta Alella's commitment to sustainable agriculture, being certified as such. In the tasting, it presents a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. Its aromas are predominantly floral, accompanied by notes of white fruits such as pear and apple, with a subtle background of green almond, fennel, and ripe lemon. On the palate, Etiris PB displays a voluminous entry with a fresh passage, reminiscences of ripe white fruit, a slight salty hint, and well-integrated acidity leading to a persistent finish. It is an ideal wine to accompany a variety of dishes or enjoy on its own.
