This 100% Tempranillo single-varietal wine comes from old vineyards located more than 600 meters above sea level, where vines over 60 years old produce grapes of extraordinary quality. The combination of clay and calcareous soils, together with the Mediterranean climate, provides optimal conditions for the creation of a wine that reflects the character and tradition of the region.
At first glance, AMAREN Colección Tempranillo has an intense cherry red color with violet reflections. Its high, shiny layer reflects its youth and concentration.
On the nose, this wine displays an extraordinary aromatic richness, where ripe black fruits predominate, such as blackberries and plums. As it opens, elegant notes of spices, vanilla and hints of cocoa emerge, the result of its aging in barrels. Delicate balsamic and mineral aromas are also perceived, adding depth and complexity to the whole.
On the palate, it is structured, with silky and well-integrated tannins that provide an enveloping texture. The flavors of black fruits are complemented by spicy nuances and hints of licorice, tobacco and a subtle toasted touch.
