Michel Noëllat Nuits St Georges is a red wine made from Pinot Noir by Domaine Michel Noëllat in Burgundy.
Harvested by hand. Cold maceration for 3 to 5 days. Ageing in oak (new 30%) for 14 months.
Domaine Michel Noëllat is a winery in the hands of the 5th generation of the family, the brothers Alain and Jean-Marc Noëllat. It is located in the village of Vosne-Romanée. A village of great reputation and one of the most important wine villages in France; more than 80% of the wines produced in the Côte de Nuits are reds, and 24 of the 33 Grand Crus of Burgundy are found here.
The average age of the vines is 40 years, worked with meticulous care, maintaining the principle of minimum intervention and traditional viticulture and winemaking systems.
Colour: cherry red
Nose: aromas of fresh cherries
Palate: Full and solid on the palate, with ripe tannins that create a sensation of volume and length.
