An independent and family-owned vineyard, dedicated to recovering the vineyards of ancient Livonia (part of the present-day republics of Latvia and Estonia) where wine was already produced in the 14th century according to historical archives.
Currently, there are vineyards throughout the Baltic Sea region, thanks to the creation of new hybrids of grape varieties resistant to the extreme low temperatures of winter (between -25C and -35C) and to the pests caused by long periods of high humidity during very rainy springs and autumns.
